Minelab SD 2200v2
This detector is ideal for the beginning treasure hunter, as w ell as the experienced treasure hunter. With an “ergonomically balanced S-Bend shaft” the SD 2200v2 is a comfortable, lightweight machine. It features “Automatic Ground Tracking,” which will enables you to switch it on, automatically balance it, and go find treasure! It also boasts of an “Audio Boost” and “Automatic Tune Control,” as well as a “Discrimination” mode.
The Minelab SD 2200v2 comes with an 11” Double ‘D’ coil that contains two ‘D’ shaped windings and is perfect for locating deep targets. The Double ‘D’ coil provides you with a detection pattern as you search that is “blade like” and is sensitive from tip to heel. This allows you to pinpoint your targets easily because you can cover more ground with each sweep, with almost zero overlapping!
The only sound you’ll hear is the one indicating you’ve found treasure!
The SD 2200v2 features Minelab’s exclusive MPS (Multi Period Sensing) technology, which enables it to minimize the effects of mineralization, penetrating deeper and providing you with an interference free signal. This is ground breaking because it overcomes the problem of ground noise and your detector will only produce a signal for real treasures.

Minelab SD 2200v2 Metal Detector
When using a conventional metal detector, the ground mineralization interferes with the signal, which substantially limits the depth at which a nugget can be detected. The SD 2200v2, however uses Minelab's exclusive technology known as MPS or Multi Period Sensing plus five (5) Outstanding features. This enables the SD 2200v2 to minimize the effects of mineralization, to penetrate deeper, and to provide you with an interference free signal. This effectively has overcome the problem of ground noise, and it essentially only produces a signal on actual metal targets such as a gold nugget. Ideal for the beginner, couple or experienced prospector. Supplied with the versatile 11 inch Double-D coil the ergonomically balanced "S-bend" shaft makes the Minelab SD 2200v2 a comfortable, lightweight machine.
